Caitlin Antonaras was born in Connecticut where she spent her childhood until moving to Florida in 1995. Upon graduation from high school, Caitlin earned her Associates of Science degree from Florida College of Natural Health in 2005. While in College Caitlin also received two certifications in Massage Therapy and Esthetician training. After attaining experience in the spa field, Caitlin decided to attend cosmetology school at Fashion Focus Hair academy in 2008 to fulfill her dream of becoming a hair stylist. Caitlin is trained in the pivot pointe international methodology, Pravana Certified, Hot Heads extensions certified, as well as many other continuing education classes for hair, massage and skincare. Caitlin specializes in hair coloring including balayage and highlighting, cutting the latest styles as well as updo styles for your wedding or special occasion. In her spare time Caitlin loves to spend time with her husband and children.

Megan Antonaras, grew up in Sarasota Florida from the early 90’s. After graduating from high school she attended two years of college pursuing a business degree. She moved to Venice in 2006 after happily marrying and shortly there after starting a family. Megan is a devoted mother to three amazing rambunctious children. She has always had a passion for the hair and beauty industry and decided to pursue her cosmetology license in 2011 at Fashion Focus Hair Academy. Megan was trained at a Pivot Point International Academy where she was trained in the latest techniques. She has furthered her training over the years with extensive education, training, and Pravana Certification. She specializes in all facets of the hair and beauty industry from balayage, color and cutting, smoothing treatments and the latest trends.

Julia Scolaro is a Venice native who was born in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated from Venice High School and continued her education at Suncoast Technical College, where she graduated from the Cosmetology program in 2008. Julia is experienced in all forms of color and cutting. One of the things she loves about her job is meeting new people each day and helping them achieve the desired look.

Kara Shaefer, a mother to two beautiful children, is originally from Hagerstown, MD. Before moving to Florida, Kara attended York Technical Institute, where she obtained a degree in Travel and Tourism, leading her to pursuits in the hospitality industry and as an administrator for a home health agency. After moving to Venice, FL in 2010 and enrolling her children in school, Kara obtained her current position: salon coordinator at Green Apple Salon and Spa. Though she loves being a mom and spending quality time with her children, Kara also enjoys her professional life. At the salon, she excels with and enjoys the day-to-day interactions with clients and building relationships with her co-workers, making salon coordinator the perfect position for her.

Cari was born and raised in Iowa until leaving the Midwest for warmer temperatures and sandy shores in 2016. She has been a hairstylist since 2008 and has been licensed in massage since 2010. For five and a half years before moving to Florida, Cari was also a licensed cosmetology instructor at the Iowa School of Beauty. Pravana certified, Cari enjoys doing color, foils, balayage, and of course cutting, perming and styling. She can also take care of your every need concerning wigs. She loves to have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world in this profession.

Alessia Bunton, originally from Ukraine moved to Venice Florida in 2011. After graduating from Venice High School and Cosmetology School in 2015 she started her career in 2013 working part-time assisting while finishing her education. Since graduating Alessia has furthered her education in French hair-cutting techniques as well as extensive color education and many other certifications including Pravana Certifications. Alessia loves all aspects of the beauty industry but more specifically balayage, cutting, smoothing treatments, and updos. Alessia is a loving mother to a happy little boy named Angelo who loves going to the beach and spending time with family.

Ashley Thomas grew up in Venice Florida and is a Venice High School graduate. She attended Fashion Focus Hair Academy in 2016 and graduated in 2018. She has since then continued furthering her education in coloring techniques being Pravana certified. Ashley enjoys doing short texturized cuts and fashion colors, blonding, and color corrections. Ashley likes meeting new clients, helping them achieve their hair goals making them feel confident while leaving the chair. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and pets.
